Kris's Closet
Inspired by great bloggers like Folake of Style Pantry and Tamia of The Style Sample,a month ago we decided to open up our closets to the world as well. We are ChristinaKristin of Columbus,Ohio. We are two women close in age, with two different takes on style and completely different personalities. The best way to describe us if personalities were colors would be red and hot pink. I am the red personality because I am usually wild, passionate and bold with fashion and in life. My name is Kristin. Welcome to my closet!
Friday I went to work at Shoetique, my friend's shoe boutique in Columbus, Ohio. I worked on the window displays and made some new friends. Later on I went to a wine shop called the Twisted Vine in the Grandview area with my fella and sat on their new patio to have a few glasses of wine. The weather was very cool for a change and I found a new place to have good wine on a nice patio. I can't wait to go back. I took these pictures at Twisted Vine. This is what I wore.
I wore a hello kitty tee with a red rhinestone bow. I got the tee shirt in Grandview at One More Time. I found rhinestone hello kitty tees @http://www.ebay.com/itm/RHINESTONE-HELLO-KITTY-T-SHIRT-BLACKS-TANK-TOP-TRANSFERS-HOT-FIX-ALL-STONE-/200707941671 & http://tshirtsblvd.com/hello-kitty-rhinestone/ The flared skirt is originally by Talbots but I bought it from the Goodwill. I found a great red, black and white floral skirt @ http://www.modcloth.com/shop/skirts/flower-share-skirt
My studded leather belt is from an Ohio Thrift Store. I found some even cuter studded belts then mine @ http://www.bluefly.com/Vince-Camuto-black-faux-patent-leather-studded-bow-buckle-skinny-belt/SEARCH/318322701/detail.fly & http://www.zappos.com/justin-biker-stud-black
My sunglasses I have worn once on a closet blog. I believe it was the very first blog last month. They are Michael Kors cat-eyes. I found the same pair online @ http://www.framesdirect.com/framesfp/Michael_Kors-tekelb/lb.html?color=487793&gclid=CM3Bmsaoj7ECFeEDQAodZBjjCQ My red and black vintage posts earrings are from a thrift store in a suburb or Illinois. I found a similar pair @ http://www.etsy.com/listing/97837856/cinnabar-red-floral-affordable-studs?ref=sr_gallery_7&ga_search_query=red+%26+black+vintage+post+earrings&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_ship_to=ZZ&ga_min=0&ga_max=0&ga_page=2&ga_search_type=all
The bracelets on the left are from a store in Pittsburgh. I found them all over ebay and they are in hair stores and flea markets so I won't bother to post links for them. The bottom one with the ladybug charms I got from Funky & Functional in the Short North, Columbus. The large rhinestone bracelet on the right is also from Funky & Functional. I love that store! Click on links to view similar bracelets.

My red rhinestone clutch is from Shoetique. I found this same clutch online @ http://www.milanoo.com/Casual-Red-Rhinestone-Snap-Closure-Acrylic-Stone-PU-Prom-Clutch-p25252.html The ladybug ring is by Noir. My girlfriend Yima gave it to me as a just because gift. Love you Yima! I did not locate another Noir ladybug but they have some great pieces @ http://noirjewelry.com
My shoes I have worn a few times in closet blogs. They are Type Z (Desert) sandals. They are sold out and I have not been able to locate anything close to these.
This concludes another Kris's Closet. Thank you so much for stopping by!
Be blessed! Be free! Be fashionable!
