Kris's Closet

Inspired by great bloggers like Folake of Style Pantry and Tamia of The Style Sample,a month ago we decided to open up our closets to the world as well. We are ChristinaKristin of Columbus,Ohio. We are two women close in age, with two different takes on style and completely different personalities. The best way to describe us if personalities were colors would be red and hot pink. I am the red personality because I am usually wild, passionate and bold with fashion and in life. My name is Kristin. Welcome to my closet!

Saturday was a miserable and hot day! I went to Lexington, Ohio for the Honda Indy 200 at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. I did not know that these car races were three hours long. Grey's Anatomy fans, Patrick Dempsey (Mc Dreamy) was there racing in the Le Mans Series. I added a picture of his car at the end of today's blog. I was sitting outside in 93 degree temperatures in a captains chair sweating but not enough to keep myself from feeling faint. Then when the fella and I couldn't take it anymore we left and headed toward home. We stopped at a flea market in Chesterville then went to a party to celebrate my friend's husband graduating from the Columbus Fire Department Academy. Go Elijah! I took my photos in the park next to their condo.This is what I wore.

My dress I got from Kohls this week on the clearance rack in the juniors department for $10. It is by Mudd. I loved the ethnic look of it and it was very comfortable when I tried in on in the store. It ties and gathers at the waist and has a crochet back. My turquoise earrings are a part of a set I wear often. They go with my bracelet and ring I usually wear with my copper jewelry. The set came from Mali on Michigan Ave in Chicago. You can find some of their pieces @https://malijewelry.com/default.asp

My distressed gold leather sandals are Type Z (Desert). I also own them in black and have worn them in a few closet blogs.
