Last Tuesday I took a short trip to Orlando with my family. We took my nephew on his first visit to Disney World. That first day was a relaxed day at the hotel. We got settled in after a late afternoon arrival. We got dinner at one of the hotel restaurants. It was my best meal of the trip. Afterward my grandfather surprised us with a visit all the way from Hollywood, Florida. Then we planned out the next day. We had a two day park hopper pass and two days to visit four parks. Before bed my sister and I had drinks at one of the hotel bars. This was last Tuesday's look.

Saturday was a blast! I spent the first part of my day in Lake Snowden, Ohio at the Ohio Pawpaw Festival. I learned about the forgotten North American Pawpaw fruit. I tasted many pawpaw dishes and products including pawpaw beer. I made friends with a alpaca and listened to some great bands. I picked up a few souvenirs like fresh pawpaws, a personalized leather bracelet and a recycled bird feed tote. Then I spent the evening in Bremen, Ohio by a bonfire and riding through the woods in a Razor ATV. My look was determined by the cool weather and the fact that we were headed to the country. It was a little glam and a lot country. It was 'Country Glam'! This is what I wore.

Kris's Closet

Inspired by great bloggers like Folake of Style Pantry and Tamia of The Style Sample,two months ago we decided to open up our closets to the world as well. We are ChristinaKristin of Columbus,Ohio. We are two women close in age, with two different takes on style and completely different personalities. My style is usually wild, bold, adventurous and colorful. I would use the same words to describe my personality and life. My name is Kristin. Welcome to my closet!

 Saturday I went to the Marion Popcorn Festival in Marion, Ohio with the fella.  I had a great time eating everything and I ran into a friend of mine I have not seen in quite some time. I watched the free Boyz II Men concert there. I enjoyed singing songs I first heard twenty years ago. I felt aged but enjoyed remembering what I was doing when those songs came out. Before we headed home we also stopped by the Harding Memorial. It was made completely of marble and the lights that shined on it made it glisten. It was beautiful. I took my closet pictures at the Popcorn Festival. This is what I wore.

I wore a colorful floral romper. I bought this from a vintage seller on etsy. I found another cute floral romper at

My brown cat-eye sunglasses have become closet blog regulars. They are by Cole Haan. The style is (C6048). I bought them from Nordstrom Rack a few months ago. My belt is another thrift store buy. Skinny belts have been in the last couple of seasons, so this is like the only one I have. I am more of a big belt girl. My blue open-toe wedges are also closet blog regulars. They are by Zigi Soho. I ordered them online from DSW. They are super comfortable. They are all sold out but I have offered similar options the last few times I wore them.

I am the red personality because I am usually wild, passionate and bold with fashion and in life. My name is Kristin. Welcome to my closet!

Saturday was a miserable and hot day! I went to Lexington, Ohio for the Honda Indy 200 at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. I did not know that these car races were three hours long. Grey's Anatomy fans, Patrick Dempsey (Mc Dreamy) was there racing in the Le Mans Series. I added a picture of his car at the end of today's blog. I was sitting outside in 93 degree temperatures in a captains chair sweating but not enough to keep myself from feeling faint. Then when the fella and I couldn't take it anymore we left and headed toward home. We stopped at a flea market in Chesterville then went to a party to celebrate my friend's husband graduating from the Columbus Fire Department Academy. Go Elijah! I took my photos in the park next to their condo.This is what I wore.

My dress I got from Kohls this week on the clearance rack in the juniors department for $10. It is by Mudd. I loved the ethnic look of it and it was very comfortable when I tried in on in the store. It ties and gathers at the waist and has a crochet back.
