Chris's/Kris's Closet (Christina) June 24,2013

Chris's Closet

I am Christina, the hot pink of ChristinaKristin, welcome to my closet.

Monday was a pretty slow day for me. I didn't do much, I worked on some jewelry for a while. I quickly became bored and wanted to get out of the house. So I got dressed and just ran a few errands. This is one of my favorite T-shirts, I purchased in Atlanta, I was at a vendor event and Ethnicity Models was selling this shirt, I thought it was super cute and picked one up, along with my earrings. I paired it with different shades of pink. My neon pink tank top is a closet blog regular, I purchased it from Target.  The fuchsia skirt is from American Apparel. I love this store, haven't been there in a while, but they are known for their basic pieces. My belt is a thrift store purchase.

You have seen my bracelets before, on my right wrist the colorful bracelets are from Ghana, the gold bangles were purchased at the World Market. On my left wrist, that bracelet I purchased from a vendor at The Ohio State Fair. My straw clutch is also a thrift store find.

What do you think?

Until Next Time,Ciao!

Chris's/Kris's Closet (Christina) July 8, 2012

Chris's Closet

I am Christina, the hot pink of ChristinaKristin, welcome to my closet!

On this relaxing Sunday I woke up prepared to leave the house.  Saturday had given such high temperatures I already knew that I was staying in.  So on Sunday I got up early, did a bit of deep cleaning to my apartment and then got dressed.  You know how you wake up feeling like "I'm going to be super cute today"? Well that's how I felt.

As a Sunday ritual, I stopped to see my mom. I figured since I was cute, why not take pics. My 14-year old nephew was my photographer.  He was already on punishment, so I gave him something constructive to do.  He did a pretty good job.

I have really been feeling the neon trend. It is perfect for Summer, and everything in the stores is neon.  I wore my neon pink tank top, which I got from the Target store for $8. http://www.target.com/p/xhilaration-juniors-must-have-sleep-tank-assorted-colors/-/A-13996640  I love Target's tank tops! They fit so well, and they are extra long like I like them. My gray two tiered ruffle skirt is from Nordstrom's bp.section. I bought this skirt a few summers ago. Here is a similar skirt http://www.styleceo.com/old-navy-womens-plus-tiered-ruffle-midi-skirts-48634683/p/48634683/

The turquoise stone necklace is from Stella & Dot, it is the Marchesa Necklace. I am also a stylist with Stella & Dot. You can find this necklace by visiting my site at www.stelladot.com/christinajovonn.  The neon yellow belt actually came off of a pair of Target shorts that I bought a few weeks ago. You can find a similar belt at http://www.flirtcatalog.com/p-97723-skinny-neon-belt.aspx

Excuse the car fluid behind me, my nephew is just an amateur photographer, I have to groom him. lol My awesome straw clutch, I found at a thrift store on a whim, for only $1.99. Please don't sleep on the thrift store, I am a bargain shopper and I always find deals there. Check out Ohio Thrift located at 1580 Alum Creek Drive, Columbus, OH 43209.

My super comfortable powder blue wedges are from Shoetique located at 3760 E. Broad St. Columbus, OH 43213. Check this similar style out http://www.dsw.com/shoe/michael+antonio+granville+wedge+sandal?prodId=246253&productRef=SEARCH

My bracelets are a combination of World Market http://www.worldmarket.com/product/index.jsp?productId=11774087, Target, I couldn't find them online, but I found some super cute neon bracelets at http://www.etsy.com/listing/102417226/  also ChristinaKristin, we don't have the neon bracelets I have on , I made those for myself, but we do have neon wooden bangles and other neon accessories at www.etsy.com/shop/christinakristin, and lastly Stella & Dot, you can find the Harlow Bangle at www.stelladot.com/christinajovonn

Until next time, Ciao!
