Chris's/Kris's Closet (Kristin) June 24, 2016 ComFest Day 1

Kris's Closet

In this blog post you will get a glimpse of pieces in my closet, learn where I found them and where I wore them. My name is Kristin. Welcome to my closet!

Friday was the start of a festival in Columbus, Ohio called Comfest. It is a community festival where you are free to be who you are, enjoy music, food and drink and celebrate community. Ohio is a state that allows women to be topless, so it is common to see topless women throughout the area. The smell of marijuana permeates the air. This is the favorite festival for many in our city.

Christina and I were vendors this weekend at the event. Friday was the longest day, starting at 11am and ending at 11pm. I wanted to be comfortable for the 12 hour shift, so I opted for a summer dress and flats. We also wanted to wear pieces from our collections, so the star piece Friday from our Vegas Collection, is a pair of crystal covered satin red bows with a chain metal drape at the bottom. This was Friday's look.

Dress: Milly for Design Nation from Kohls (Last Spring Season)
Shoes: Me Too (old) I also replaced the flowers on the side with pom pom balls.
Sunglasses: Kensie (old)
Earrings: ChristinaKristin

Until next time,

I am excited that it is finally looking like spring! Road trips are being planned and the spring clothes are coming out. I am definitely in a better mood. This past weekend I kicked off my travel season. My beau and I took my sister to Amish Country on Saturday. It was her first time in the area. We spent the day shopping for meat, cheese and wine. We had lunch at Berlin Farmstead and browsed the shops in the area. I took these photos at the restaurant and at a furniture shop on the way home. This is what I wore.

Kris's Closet

Inspired by some great bloggers, my partner and I decided to start our own blog. In this blog post you will get a glimpse of pieces in my closet, learn where I found them
 and where I wore them.
My name is Kristin. Welcome to my closet!

Saturday was February ladies night. Eight ladies met me at Candy Cane Lane Party House for a pole dance lesson. Only one of us had taken a class before so it was quite amusing. We were suppose to wear workout clothing for the lesson which is the only reason I am in leggings. I took these photos at Candy Cane Lane before the class started. At that time I had to remove my Uggs. This is what I wore.
I knew I was going to this pole party all day so when I got dressed this was the outcome. I threw on a pair of leggings I bought off the clearance rack at Kohls last week. I layered a long Mossimo Target beater made to wear as a dress (old) and a Minnie Mouse tee also from Kohls clearance. My sequin over-the-knee Uggs are closet post repeats.
There is a big metallic red bow on Minnie Mouse that attracted me to the shirt. Colored metallics are going to be big for spring.
I was inspired by the shirt to make myself a metallic hair bow as well. I used a gold and black thin scarf.

This concludes another Kris's Closet. Thank you so much for stopping by!
